Hand Painted Barn Quilts

Inspired by a rich folk art tradition, barn quilts bring timeless beauty to barns, homes and gardens. Each barn quilt I create is a tribute to heritage, crafted by hand and made to be cherished for years to come.

My Story

I discovered the art of barn quilts in 2022 and from the very first brushstroke, I was hooked. With guidance and inspiration from my mentor, Talara Parish of Barn Quilt Headquarters, I quickly fell in love with this colourful, creative tradition.

Using only the highest quality materials, I’ve now painted over 100 barn quilts- each one a unique expression of joy, heritage, and vibrant design. What began as a personal passion has grown into something even more meaningful: a way to bring colour and happiness to homes, barns, and hearts across our region.

I love every step of the process, from designing and taping, to painting and sealing and I’m proud to share this craft with others through hands-on workshops. Watching people discover their own creativity while working on a barn quilt is just as rewarding as completing one of my own.

Rideau River Barn Quilts is more than just a business-it’s a joyful journey I’m grateful to be on, and I’m so glad you’re here to be a part of it.
